ABOUT ME
she / her / hers
Hello, Casey here.
I design and lead in-person experiences that build community and invite curiosity.
I manage programs and coordinate projects in a way that invites ease and trust for all involved.
I create content that offers deeper insight into the stories of people and places.
I write, perform, direct, produce, stage manage and otherwise facilitate unorthodox theater productions, in the Bay Area and beyond.
I believe that a well designed experience can create memories that last a lifetime.
I’ve had an especially varied career. Some unique highlights include coaxing beginner rock climbers up cliffs in National Parks, guiding planetarium visitors through the wonders of the universe, co-designing a 36-hour bespoke experiential odyssey in France, and sharing stories about obscure history to packed houses from coast to coast.
For fun, I read, I get outside, and I travel. Typically, I read 100+ books anually, I walk or hike 1000+ miles, and I use my passport at least once a year. So far, I’ve laid my head in all 50 US states, planted my feet in 60 different countries, and set my eyes on all Seven Wonders of the World.
Do you have a lead for my next cool career move? How about any advice about what to read or where to visit next? If so, do get in touch.
WHAT I DO FOR WORK
I’ve created content, guided strategy and successfully established local operations for several successful organizations.
I’ve been on or behind-the-scenes of many stages, in the Bay Area and beyond, acting as writer, performer, emcee, producer, or stage manager.
I’ve supervised numerous cross-functional teams, strategically shaping positive workplace dynamics and establishing collaborative systems.
I have copious experience on stage or in front of groups: leading trainings, assemblies, walking tours, lectures, and even weddings.
I relish the opportunity to mentor fellow presenters on writing and delivering content using their own personal style, perspective and voice.

TESTIMONIALS
“Not only was it great team building for our staff, but it really helped us look at our programming in a whole new way. We’re already generating ideas and can’t wait to implement them. The great thing is we feel like we can actually put what we learned into practice, despite our already busy schedules, small staff, and tight budget. We walked away [from this training] with energy and inspiration. It was very refreshing.”
If anyone can approach an important and delicate topic with the heart and creativity and passion that it deserves, it is Casey.
“[The experience] all mapped back to us. She had chosen these stories because of who we are as a company. That was really fantastic. It wasn’t just because it was interesting – it made it personal. It made it beyond a cool experience and into something that really mattered to our employees.”
Casey (a extremely gifted storyteller and natural guide) impressed me with her breadth of knowledge. I came into it expecting to know most of what we would learn that day but it blew me away by just how much I did learn. Casey has done her homework and presents an astounding amount of information in a engaging and fun manner."
"As soon as [she] was done on stage, I wanted to rewind it and watch it again. Beautifully researched and written, and delivered with enthusiastic, authentic panache. The woman in front of me was so moved that she alternately thrust her arms in the air and curled herself into a rocking ball, writhing in truth. It was amazing."
